The course features rolling terrain with challenging, sloped greens and narrow, tree-lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on nine holes. From beginner to expert golfers and those in between, the layout of the course will provide challenge and enjoyment to suit everyone’s round. Get ready to use every club in the bag as you experience this traditional layout. Larkhaven offers true “bump and runs” to elevation changes, such as the to a 60-foot elevation drop on the par 3 ninth hole. Our course requires shot making that doesn't exist on modern day courses. Don't be fooled by the yardages on the scorecard. The course plays much longer due to the changes in terrain.

Very nice course to play, wide open but with challenges. Very price friendly and the course has the PGA look and feel but plays well.

Being told this was primarily a winter course from local players, it was in good shape. Fairways rather plush and the greens were firm but held approach shots, slower than what I was use to. Pace of play will be determined by the skill of the group you follow due to the challenging layout. Would play again if in the area.

Course is in very nice condition. Greens are fuzzy and on the slow side.

Tee boxes are in some need of help. Two of the par threes have tee boxes that are being completely redone. Taking a 192 shot over a lake to a 75 chip shot. The fairways had some bare spots as well. The course has a good layout to it.

Played in March of '12 and the course was absolutely perfect. I've never seen fairways or greens as good as these. Just, wow.

Larkhaven is the Eastland Mall of Charlotte golf courses. Pace of play on a Saturday is painfully slow. Get the ezlinks deal if you play otherwise you are wasting your money.

I play during the week first thing in the morning. Done before lunch. It's a great value. The staff is very nice. The conditions beat other pricier couses hands down. Can't say enough about the greens crew and staff.
