This mature, evergreen-lined 18-hole course opened in 1926 and is one of the more highly-regarded municipal courses in all of Minnesota (it is owned and operated by the City of Grand Rapids). The standard walking rates are $30 Mondays through Thursdays and $35 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays (carts are $32). Several stay-and-play packages are available, as well as season passes.

Pronounced "poh-KEH-ge-mah," the course's name is based on "Bakegamaang," an Ojibwe word meaning "at the side-lake."
