This course closed in 2004, and was the only course inside the Brainerd-Baxter city limits.

The property was sold to Denali Companies in 2005 and the company planned to develop a "Baxter Town Center" retail complex on the property. However, satellite imagery from 2011 seems to show that the course has not been completely destroyed yet.
