The Green Oaks Golf Course, located in Concord, NC, is a par-71, 6,215-yard layout that opened in 1967. This hilly course is mostly tree lined and has many dogleg fairways. The elevated greens are medium-sized, undulating and some of them are located on tops of hills. Either four ponds or a connecting creek come into play on seven holes. This course was built on the second largest gold mine on the East Coast, The Phoenix Gold Mine.
