Formerly known as Milaca Golf Club, StonesThrow has a fair amount of water on the course: The Rum River, O'Neill Brook, and several ponds punctuate this course, which opened with nine holes in 1956. The second nine opened in 2000.

The course does not have a practice range on-site, but the "Rock Pile Driving Range" is available a short distance north of the course on Central Avenue. Tokens are available at the StonesThrow clubhouse.
