For many years, Lakeview Golf Club was a nine-hole course, but following notable architect Garrett D. Gill's redesign (1996-97), Lakeview National GC adds to an impressive (and scenic!) roster of public-access courses on Minnesota's North Shore. In fact, Lake Superior is visible from 14 of the 18 holes here.
The standard walking rate is $24; carts are $10. Junior, senior, 9-hole, and twilight rates are available, as are season passes.
