Eighty years after its orginal configuration, golfers still marvel at how the Forest Lake course follows the natural contours of the land and has stood the test of time. The course still reflects the same spirit and original features with signature undulating, well-protected greens and naturally contoured fairways. The entire course has an ambiance of serenity and tranquility that lets you concentrate on your game, enjoy the company of friends and experience the essence of the sport the way it was meant to be played. Golf is a family affair with many activities for the male, female, husband-wife, mixed events and a strong program for junior golfers.

As with most private CC's,maintenance wise it is/was top notch. Greens are very fast, but doesn't hold any approach shots, even after playing a couple hours after rain. Toughest part of the course are the elevation changes and the multi-tiered greens. If you're not on the pin, you have to know where to land on the green, if not your in 3 putt land.

Not a well laid out course, criss crossing fairways, illogical elevations and valleys. Private club members may enjoy facilities to entertain guests.
