The club advertises as being America's oldest golf club (1888) and a founding member of the USGA. Saint Andrew's is located about a 20-minute drive north of Manhattan, just east of the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87). Golf was first played on this site in 1897, although Jack Nicklaus redesigned the course in 1983 and the layout has remained largely the same since.
This is a private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of a member.
