To all my readers and friends, Happy New Year! 2010 was trying in lots of ways for most of us, but it's wonderful how the changing of the calendar can put a new bounce in your step and resolve in your soul. I hope this year brings all of you health, peace and happiness, combined with the personal, financial and golf success we all strive for.

I'm not one to make resolutions, per se, but I do like to use the changing of the year to both reflect and look forward. In reflection, I can see “the errors of my ways”, so to speak . . . in business, my personal life, my golf and all other things important to me. I try to extract myself from the decisions I made and see what results those decisions generated. It’s a learning experience.

And looking forward, I try to gauge what changes I need to make in the way I approach things in order to generate different results from my expended energies. I also try to open my eyes even wider to see opportunities to improve as a person, business leader, golfer, friend, citizen . . . well, I think you get it.

2011 makes four years since I created “The Wedge Guy”, and the library now is approaching four hundred articles. I’ve touched on many subjects in and around wedges and the short game, equipment and playing the game, and a few just to sound off as “The Texas WedgeHog – Rootin’ Out The Truth.” I hope you have enjoyed reading, but I need YOU to help me stay relevant to what YOU want to know about these . . . or any other topics.

Please send me your questions about golf equipment, scoring, short game technique . . . anything “golf-y”. And I’ll do my best to give you a veteran’s insight into whatever it is you want to know. I need all of you readers to help me create content here that is meaningful, interesting and informative. I know I write it, but this is really intended to be YOUR column each week. That’s why we’ll continue to give away an EIDOLON V-SOLE wedge to a reader each week. All you have to do to have a chance to win is send in your questions.
