Happy Windy New Year By Torleif Sorenson on 1/2/15
Mother Nature is giving golfers a happy windy new year in the East Bay. Suffice to say, cleanup at Chuck Corica Golf Complex may take a few days. Assuming that course superintendent Dan Holmes and his staff have sufficient chain saws and equipment, clean-up should be... well... ... a breeze. Read an interesting golf article? Tell us about it! [ comments ]  bkuehn1952 says:We had an F3 tornado rip through a local course a couple years ago. Trees 4-5 feet in diameter tossed around like toothpicks. The course was closed for months and even today, some of the holes have significant signs of the twister. 1/6/15
 mustang6560 says:Crazy. We had a handful of twisters touch down here in MS over the NY holiday. Luckily no one was killed and no courses were destroyed. 1/6/15
