Henrik Stenson's Dubai Double
By Torleif Sorenson on 11/18/13
It doesn't match the legendary Bobby Jones' "Impregnable Quadrilateral" or even the 2000-2001 "Tiger Slam," but on Sunday, Henrik Stenson accomplished something no golfer has yet done.

Stenson has won both the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup and the European Tour's Race to Dubai. In the same season.
"It has been an incredible summer for me, the (autumn) in America was great and now this," said Stenson, who was also second in The Open Championship and third in the [U.S.] PGA Championship. "It has been a dream season.

"I played so well this week. I knew the guys would try to catch me, especially Ian, who never gives up. I wanted to stay ahead of him and I managed to do that.

"I don't know how I am going to be able to top this next year but I am going to give my best in the majors and
(becoming the first male Swedish player to win one)] would be the icing on the cake."
As well as Stenson has played over the last couple of years, it would be foolish to rule out a major championship for the Swede.

And in addition to two gaudy trophies, Stenson also takes home €985,476, which is roughly equivalent to US $2.33 million. That's a lot of cabbage.
