Sweet 16 at Sheshan By Torleif Sorenson on 11/4/13
Shooting four rounds in the 60s at a WGC event is impressive. But going 69-63-66-66 (264) is an eye-opener. That's what Dustin Johnson did at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions, played over Sheshan International Golf Club in China this past week. And because the new PGA Tour season has begun, the $1.4 million Johnson earned isn't just real — it's also official money. Johnson's chip-in at 16 (above) might be the signature moment of the HSBC Champions. Not only does Johnson qualify for a bunch of events, including January's Tournament of Championship (That Actually Show Up), he also earned 550 FedEx Cup Points. (And Drew Carey says the points don't matter.) Watch an interesting golf video? Tip your editor! [ comments ] no comments posted yet. [ post comment ]
