"I don't know what the Golf Channel is going to do or not"
By mustang6560 on 10/29/13

Two weeks ago, Brandel Chamblee essentially called Tiger Woods a cheater, the worst label in golf.

Last week, Tiger's agent threatened to sue the Golf Channel analyst, and subsequently (which may or may not be related) Brandel issued a public apology on Twitter.

Today, Tiger responded to the situation.
"All I am going to say is that I know I am going forward," Woods said before his exhibition match with Rory McIlroy at Mission Hills. "But then, I don't know what the Golf Channel is going to do or not. But then that's up to them. The whole issue has been very disappointing, as he didn't really apologize and he sort of reignited the whole situation.

"So the ball really is in the court of the Golf Channel and what they are prepared to do."
If you read between the lines -- and it's not hard to do -- it appears Tiger wants Golf Channel to punish its star analyst. In fact, it almost seems like he wants Brandel pushed out.

It's unlikely Brandel will be fired for his column as he never actually said Tiger was a cheater, but Golf Channel may ask him to stop contributing to other media outlets.
