Presidents Cup a Must Win For International Team
By mustang6560 on 9/30/13

According to Adam Scott, the 2013 Presidents Cup is a must win for the International Team.
"The Internationals need to step up and win the thing and make it a real competition," Scott told Agence France-Presse. "This is a big year for us. It's our time ... I think it's crucial. We have to win this year. The Cup loses any credibility whatsoever if (the Internationals) don't start winning soon."
As an American citizen, I'm obligated to root for the U.S. Team, however, I won't be upset if we lose because I agree with Adam (and probably the majority of fans) -- the International Team is in desperate need of a victory.

The U.S. Team is 7-1-1 all time in the Presidents Cup against the International Team (the world excluding Europe). The lone victory for the International Team came last Century (1998) at Royal Melbourne.

If the International Team doesn't win this year, it's not because their team is inferior. They have several top golfers including Adam Scott, Jason Day, Charl Schwartzel, Ernie Els, Louie Oosthuizen, and Angel Cabrera.
