As you can see from the Vine video below, day one of the 2013 Open Championship didn't go as Charl Schwartzel intended. After three straight bogeys, the South African lost his cool on the par-4 15th and snapped his 6-iron in half.

He finished +4, which leaves him T77 heading into Friday's round.
