At the cost of some bandwidth - and your job, if you're not careful - you can watch live streaming of every PGA Tour event on your computer and smart phone.
This week's Tour stop at Torrey Pines kicks off the beginning of live-streaming of all PGA Tour events over the web. In addition to the Tour's web site; CBS Sports and NBC/Golf Channel will offer streaming of their coverage through mobile web viewers, while the "CBS SportCaster" applications for Android, iPad, and iPhone are also available. In comments sure to make business managers and directors of mobile telecom companies everywhere roll their eyes, Commissioner Tim Finchem trumpeted the move: "This is a significant milestone in the PGA TOUR's digital history. We are excited to work with CBS Sports to bring live PGA TOUR action online, and look forward to continuing our efforts with CBS, NBC and Golf Channel to develop ways golf fans can access live coverage of the PGA TOUR from wherever they are."And you thought that Thursdays and Fridays of the majors was the only time you could sluff off at work... read more Read an interesting golf article?
