Kyle Stanley Wins Waste Management Phoenix Open By mustang6560 on 2/6/12
Which of the following is the most correct answer?
A) Kyle Stanley pulled a David Toms and bounced back from a devastating loss the week before to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open. B) Spencer Levin pulled a Kyle Stanley and failed to hold onto a large lead during the final round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Let the debate begin. I feel like I'm in the exact same situation from last week. I was supposed to be happy for Brandt Snedeker for winning the Farmers Insurance Open, but in reality, I felt bad for Kyle Stanley because he let a seven stroke lead slip away from his finger tips over the final several holes and eventually lost in a playoff. Fast forward, Kyle got his redemption yesterday at TPC Scottsdale, but it came at the expense of Spencer Levin. Spencer was in a virtually identical position as Kyle was a week ago. He held as much as a six stroke lead at one point (Kyle held a seven stroke lead) and seemed to watch helplessly as it slipped away. So, now, while I'm supposed to feel happy for Kyle, I can't help but feel for Spencer. Golf is a funny game, example #4,563. read more photo via pgatour.com [ comments ] no comments posted yet.
