What do Charl Schwartzel, Rory McIlroy and Darren Clarke all have in common?

Yes, they each won a major in 2011. And yes, it was their first career major for each of them.

But, the answer I was looking for was Chubby Chandler. The big grinning, larger than life Chubby is the managing director of International Sports Management and his clients include all three major winners of 2011.

So, if one of Chubby's clients wins the PGA Championship next month, Chubby can pull off the unthinkable - the Chubby Slam. His clients would own all four majors in the same year. I do not have the stats to prove this, but I think this would be a first in golf.

Looking at Chubby's roster of clients, I would say he has a good chance of making history. Chubby is three for three so far this year and he's four for six over the last 12 months. Charl, Rory and Darren are all very capable of winning a second major in 2011, plus he also represents major winners Ernie Els and Louis Oosthuizen and Mr. Second Place himself - Lee Westwood.

If I was a betting man, I would have to consider the above mentioned names at the top of my list to win the PGA Championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club. Too bad betting in the States is not like betting is in the UK.
