Jim Furyk Wins Transitions
By kickntrue on 3/22/10
Jim Furyk was undoubtedly the best golfer in the world to not win in the past 2 1/2 years. That is behind him now.
Jim Furyk showed the nerves of a player trying to win for the first time on the PGA TOUR. Considering how long it had been since his last victory, it felt that way.

Furyk closed with a 2-under 69 on Sunday for a one-shot victory over K.J. Choi in the Transitions Championship, his first victory since the 2007 RBC Canadian Open to end his longest winless stretch since he first joined the TOUR 16 years ago.
Jim made it pretty hard on himself at the end- almost coughing up a 2 stroke lead on the 72nd hole of the tournament. He held on though- and that's all that matters!

Congrats to Jim and his caddie Fluff, proud members of the SkyGolf development team!
