Quarry at Crystal Springs

Maryland Heights, MO 63043, United States

Playing golf at Crystal Springs Quarry has often been described as "taking a walk through a nature preserve." The course is designed in an old rock quarry as it weaves in and out of natural Missouri wetlands teeming with abundant wildlife. The course naturally blends with its surrounding land with each hole separate and distinct allowing the player to enjoy a peace not found on many courses.

Crystal Springs Quarry is a true player’s golf course, demanding accuracy and positioning. Yet, while the challenge from the back tees may be too much for many golfers, four additional sets of tees allow players of all abilities to choose the one best suited for their maximum enjoyment.

The course has generally been maintained well, and while a couple greens showed some wear and tear, the rest are in good shape. The geography is beautiful and wildlife always present. The holes are challenging but not stupefying. Only major drawback is if you only play nine holes: getting to the back nine, or leaving the course after playing the front nine, can be life threatening as you run along fairways to get there, or escape.

The problem is that SkyGolf does not have the current course mapped in its system. Course was re-configured after tornado, Skygolf has not updated

A recent find. Clubhouse is poor, but the course sits next to the eastern bluffs of the Missouri River between I-70 and MO364 and is in good shape.

I have played this course since it was just a 9 hole. It is in very good shape. Something that i have not seen in awhile. Smooth greens and fairways look great. I hope they keep up the good work.
