Excellent and challenging course in the hills above Nairobi. Sigona is characterized by elevation changes, tree-lined fairways and a setup that presents a fair but challenging round to beginners and pros alike. The club is in the process of converting its greens from Bermuda to Bent Grass, the latter species presenting golfers a truer roll and softer greens. It also appears to handle Sigona's extreme temperatures (particularly cold) better than Bermuda. As of April 2012, 12 of 18 greens had been converted in addition to the practice green.
