Located less than 90 minutes north of New York City in southern Dutchess County, this links-flavored layout visually reminds of courses in Ireland and Scotland. Architects Stephen Kay and Doug Smith implemented a mix of water, pot bunkers, and natural hazards, surrounded by bent and fescue grasses. Suburban Golf magazine named LaUV the Best New Public Course for 2000.

Although the course is challenging enough have hosted men's U.S. Amateur sectional qualifying, the course is still set up to be accessible for higher-handicap players.

Walking is permitted on weekdays at $49, and then on weekends after 10:00 a.m. ET at $76. Junior, senior, 9-hole, twilight, and replay rates are available.

One of the finest courses in the NY Metro area - public or private. It is a first rate layout with many links style features. The greens are excellent - fast and true. The '19th hole' is excellent as well - food is terrific and an excellent selection of beverages. Well worth a drive to visit!

greens are difficult very fast course management is needed if you don't have a big drive very enjoyable as of oct 18 rates drop after 12 oclock

Great course. Greens and fairways are in realy great condition. Great value if you're a senior and can play during the week.

The course is in great condition and is very challenging from the back tees. The rolling hills, bunkering and greens all add to an enjoyable round. I would not necessarily rate as a true links course since the ground does not play quite as firm as courses in Ireland, but a worthwhile place to play.
