This Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed course is advertised as the "crown jewel" of the Monmouth County Park System's golf courses and is often rated as New Jersey's #1 public golf course. Seasonal wildflowers enhance out-of-play areas.

The course has excellent scenic views. The greens are true but the bunkers are not well maintained.

One of the best trent jones courses available to the public

Agree about the sand traps--many on the course. Very expensive for out of county. Staff was friendly.

My favorite Monmouth County Course. The work on the bunkers last winter has made it even better.

Overall, the course is nice. My one complaint are the sand traps, which are noting more tan dirt bunkers. Sand is non-existant.

Great shape...overpriced for a county course. Staff is not friendly at all.

course is graet but the staff sucks

This is the Bethpage Black of New Jersey - definitely not as hilly and you're allowed to drive carts instead of only walking Bethpage Black. Great conditions for a great value - must play golf course if your on the Jersey Shore - about an hour drive south from NYC.
