This old-school parkland layout debuted with nine holes in 1899, then expanded to 18 in 1922. Architecture credit goes to Orrin Smith, a former construction superintendent for Donald Ross, and to Willie Park, Jr. Then in 2000, architect Ron Prichard came in to redesign four holes for safety considerations, while maintaining a Ross-type feel.

The practice facilities are located north of the course on Lyme Road.
