Hinds Community College's Eagle Ridge Golf Course offers 18 beautiful holes to challenge the best golfers. Only ten minutes from Jackson on Mississippi Highway 18, Eagle Ridge is open to the public all year long with modern club house facilities, new golf carts, and a lighted driving range for evening practice. Eagle Ridge boasts of 6,526 yards of beautifully managed fairways carved along the banks of Raymond Lake across from the Eagle Ridge Conference Center. Concrete cart paths allow for year round golf.
Tee times and threesomes or foursomes are required on weekends and holidays. Tournaments and group outings can be arranged through the pro shop. Eagle Ridge's golf professional, Anthony Price, PGA, offers lessons to both the duffer and the expert by appointment. Anthony is one of Mississippi's finest golfers and has corrected many slices and hooks. The driving range is open until 9:30 p.m., Monday thru Saturday, March to September, and until 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.(Raymond Chamber of Commerce)

Well kept greens fairways and Tee-Boxes. Multiple elevation changes pretty much not a flat lie on the course. The elevated greens were challenging to say the least but once on the greens rolled true smooth but just a tad bit on the slow side but nice nonetheless. The back nine fairways run parallel and tight. Over a nice course but for me would prefer not to play it again. The pro shop was friendly and the grill was clean and food was good. Just one of those courses that doesn't fit my game. If you haven't played it do so....

Great course but those elevated greens made me want to throw my clubs in a lake. Had fun.

The greens are small, fast and elevated, which puts a premium on iron play. If you are on the wrong side of the greens (typically long, left or right), good luck getting your chip shot near the hole. The best place to miss is short. I would play the course again.
