Am a member at nearby Worthington, but have been meaning to try this place out. Finally did. Glad I did too. Was pleasantly surprised at the conditioning of the course overall. Fairways in great shape. Bunkers had good sand and consistency. Greens were recently aerated, but were very fast with lots of slope. Some nearly unfair depending on pin position. Very hilly overall. Tough walk I would expect. Not an easy course, but worth playing for sure. The rates we got were certainly a bargain for a challenging course in this very good condition. Under 40 bucks included golf, cart, lunch and a small bucket of balls. This is a County course. One of nine in Montgomery County, but has to be near or at the top of the list of the whole group. It is a place that will require a few rounds under your belt before knowing where to be and not be with your shots. Local knowledge will be key to scoring. There are many blind shots and a few corny holes , like the steep, steep par 3 on the back where I hit a sand wedge off the tee and was still 20 yards long! Overall, it was a fun play. For a county course the conditions were excellent and as good as the higher end courses in the area. Maybe better than some. Guess that is always changing, but as of today it's in great shape. Some great views to boot.

Great value for this nice course, but lots of blind shots off tee box and some large elevation differences. Course conditions were good.

Nice course...was in good shape. Lots of blind shots. Seemed most drives were uphill and greens downhill. Small greens with lots of undulation. Pins were place mostly on crowns. Its a good test of golf.

Nice Course , some greens a little grainey but still a nice course.

Very good course usually kept in very good condition. Almost kind of a steal at the rates they charge, definitely worth the stop.

oobgolf has two score cards associated with this course. The one with a 2011 date does NOT jive with the current course score card.

The course is challenging but beautiful. I thought it was in great shape, especially compared to other public courses I play.

This course is fairly hilly with many blind shots. I lost a couple balls that were well struck because of this, and that is frustrating. The blind shots may be partial cause for the slow play as well (5 hours). The marshals (2+) were out, but did little to improve the pace.

The course is a nice layout, with some decent length holes and some shorter holes. For some reason, all the par 3s are downhill. The fairways were in good shape, with decent length rough, although the really thick stuff for a more errant shot was very thick.

The greens rolled true, but there is some slope to consider and they are fast going downhill, so be careful if you are on the wrong side of the hole.

Great course, layout, and conditions for a great price.
