Lakewood Golf Club
4801 General DeGaulle Dr
New Orleans, LA 70131-7195, United States

This course originally debuted as Lakewood Country Club in 1961 with a design by the architect Robert Bruce Harris, who was known for his "garden-style" courses. Lakewood CC hosted the PGA Tour's New Orleans Open from 1963 to 1988.

On the verge of bankruptcy in 2003, the course was purchased by the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund, and was opened for public play under the new name, Lakewood Golf Club. Then in 2011, the notable architect Ron Garl redesigned and updated the course, while preserving much of the character of the original layout.

Discounts are available for Louisiana residents as well as firefighters when registered in the pro shop.

This course has updated information like phone, address, description or scorecard and is pending approval. These changes must be approved before they will be available on a SkyCaddie.
