Played this course on July 10, 2013. Ended up playing the two most difficult 9s of the 4 available because of an outing. The silver is the toughest nine with many lateral hazards which make it almost impossible if you cannot carry the hazards. Course layout is interesting and scenery very pretty for that part of the country. Course kept in great condition.

White Hawk is one of the nicest courses in Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area. Maybe I am biased because I am a member, but the greens are smooth and quick, the fairways are tight and the layout is challenging to all levels. The Silver 9 is really difficult (and not as well kept as the other 3 9's because of the lack of play on it), but after playing it a few times, I have learned to respect it and understand that it is a true test. And its not exactly falling apart either.

The staff couldn't be nicer and this public course has a country club feel. If you want to play a really nice course for average course prices then White Hawk should be your stop. And please try the chicken ceaser salad. the best!
