Two 18-hole courses are part of this facility; the South Course is a James Dugan design that opened in June of 1972 with a traditional parkland flavor. The North Course opened in 1990 with a design by architect Ron Kern that hints toward links-style mounding and bunkering, as well as the old-school "out and back" routing in which the 9th green and 10th tee are furthest from the clubhouse.

The 18-hole walking rate on weekdays is $36 (carts are $10). On weekends, carts are mandatory until 11:00 a.m.; the morning rate is $54. Sliding twilight, 9-hole, senior, and junior rates are offered, as are memberships.

I like the first part of the North Course's layout. Once you get deeper in the round it gets redundant with the up and backs. The fairways are generous and playable, even with the links-like ideas it would be a fun place to play were it not for 2 glaring problems

1) Don't bother playing here anywhere near a rainshower. I played 2 days after a storm and there was standing water all over the place. Nothing in the bunkers thankfully, but standing water in the fairways is bad enough... but next to a Tee box?

2) The cart paths are sinful. Utterly unforgivable for someone with spine issues. One spot was so unbelievably bad that my head actually bounced off the roof of the cart. I rode off the last 4 or 5 holes because of it, nearly unable to walk after. I will not play this course again until I hear that repairs have been done.

Recent bunker renovations will make the north course one of the best courses and values in the area.
