Three courses are part of this resort in southern Indiana. The Donald Ross course opened in 1917 and, in recent years, was restored in collaboration with the Donald Ross Society, including the return of 35 original bunkers featuring Ross' trademark flat bottoms and deep, gnarly faces.

The Pete Dye course features narrow fairways with heavily-sculpted mounds and bunkers, and is usually ranked among the top 100 public-access courses in the United States.

The 9-hole Valley Links was the original course here; it was designed by the Scottish-American architect Tom Bendelow. The walking rates for adults are $25 for nine and $40 for 18 holes; kids age 12 and under play free.

Very challenging course with very tough greens and long fescue that devours wayward shots. No hope of finding balls in that stuff. Played better on 2nd round knowing where to hit balls and undulations of some tough greens. Still worth the play and would do it again. This was the Donald Ross course.

Better have a good idea where your ball is going when playing this course. Greens are very fast but run true. Expect to shoot at least 5 strokes above your handicap considering fast greens and bunkers.

Played Pete Dye Course - Truly a bucket list experience. Play if you can. Wonderful layout - incredible scenery. Very challenging course without being overly penal.

First of all, the course was very tough for me the day I played, extremey bad day of ball striking. Overall the course was in phenomonal condition. Greens & Fairways were about perfect. Fairways were very tight on many holes with trouble around most greens (bunkers, water, tall rough, etc). Our Caddie's (Jacob & Carrolton) were very knowledgeable and helpful. They hustled the whole round and had some great reads on the greens. Beautiful golf course, great layout, very chalenging.
