This private club was created by three successful software developers, who purchased an abandoned military facility in the Allerød district. They brought in Robert Trent Jones, Jr. to oversee design and construction. Jones and his lead architect Bruce Charlton converted the base into an attractive blend of prairie and parkland styles.

The Old Course opened in 2010 after four years of construction — and with an emphasis on accuracy over distance. Jones and Charlton used an optical illusion on the 10th hole, where several bunkers appear to be a single gigantic bunker. The New Course opened one year later.

Visitors with a valid golf handicap certificate are welcome with prior arrangement. Stay-and-play packages are also available. Corporate groups of 20 or more are also welcome with prior arrangement.
