George Fazio and his equally-famous architect nephew Tom designed this course, which was built over an older course and is open only to members and their guests. The club also has a men-only policy; women are not permitted at this club.

Beyond question, this is one of the tougher courses in North America -- some say it is *the* toughest; the Gold tees are rated at 76.3 with a daunting 152 slope. Lee Trevino set the course record on his way to winning the 1979 Canadian PGA Championship -- and he shot 67.

Tough, indeed.
