tough test of golf, greens vg fairways poor - no grass!! just like playing in a field, disappointing. Worth playing but won't rush back for a while.

I have the privilege of playing this course as a member. It is an excellent course, a very good layout and test for any golfer.
As a few others have said about drainage issues on fairways this is being addressed by the club at the moment. Work has already started on a few of the holes and has made a massive difference.
The tees and greens are superb, and the scenery is amazing.
The staff are all very helpful and the facilities are excellent.

Have the pleasure of playing this stunning golf course as a member. Fantastic setting. Stunning holes. Excellent facilities. Great staff. Green keepers have worked extremely hard over the winter to get the fairways much better. All in all superb. Pylon on 13th now a distant memory.

Played in October - condition absolutely dire; course should never have been open. Management were clearly intent on maximising revenue from visitors at any cost.

Fantastic facilities and made to feel very welcome by staff course maintenance let down slightly by drainage issue which I understand is being address

fantastic course and layout is very challenging. the clubhouse and facilities are excellent. the course is new and drainage is a problem on fairways, which is being addressed.

Stunning Montgomerie designed new championship course. Some really interesting holes with considerable length and variety of challenges. Greens and tees are top condition and after another year or two the fairways wil be too. We played off the medal tees which at 6700+ made it a good length. The pylon in the middle of the 13th fairway is apparently being removed!

I know they are doing deals on membership and green fees are negotiable from cheap to very cheap. Ask Chris the pro.

Facilities were really good and uniquely the course has a 19th hole. Which is a decider hole for playoffs. A challenging par 3.

Great - will return.
