Formerly known as the private Elmhurst Country Club, and most recently as Oak Meadows, this course opened in 1915. Ben Hogan won the 1941 Chicago Open on this course, which opened to the public in 1986 and is now owned and operated by DuPage County.

Plans exist for architect Greg Martin, ASGCA to oversee a major reconstruction of Oak Meadows that will be known as The Preserve at Oak Meadows and is scheduled for a grand opening in Spring 2018.

The new Preserve at Oak Meadows is now open for limited tee times. The old course is completely remodeled. THE NEW TRACK IS GREAT!!
Grass needs to fill in in a very few spots, but a great track!!

2014 - Update Heavy rains this year have #3 and 15 playing as par 3's. Most of the greens were in fairly good shape rolling true. Course is charging twilight rates for these conditions. Latest word is the course will stay open through Aug 2015 before undergoing remodel.

Poor drainage, prone to flooding after heavy rains. Some greens in poor shape. Could be a very nice course with some work. Lots of mature trees and creek come into play on several holes.

Trailers serve as replacement for clubhouse.

A better value at twilight and weekdays. For discounted offers, check their web site or greatgreenfees.com for deals.
