This C.B. MacDonald 9-hole design was the original site of Chicago Golf Club; from 1895-1968 it was known as Belmont Country Club. The course is open to the public, as it has been owned and operated by the Downers Grove Park District since 1968.

The place where Chicago golf began. A great challenging 9 hole course. the greens have been shrunk in size on several holes over the last few years. A few new tee boxes added as well. Many mature tress and water comes into play on several holes. Nice elevation changes throughout the course a good value for non-residents $18.
