This course has seen some history since it opened in 1967 with nine holes. The second nine opened in 1969, but a flood in 1996 destroyed six of those nine. Between 1996 and 2000, those six holes were rebuilt, along with three holes on the first nine. And then in September of 2000, a fire destroyed part of the original clubhouse, necessitating a new clubhouse, which opened eleven months later. That rather large building includes banquet facilities.
