This facility opened in 1991 as Hanover Country Club and was acquired in 2006 by the Churchgate Group, after which it was renamed "Lord's Golf Club" and underwent a course re-design. Both courses were designed by architect Reg Plumbridge.
Visitors and societies are welcome at certain times, so advance booking is necessary. The walking rates for the Duke Course are £30 weekdays and £40 weekends (carts/buggies are £22.50). Rates are lower for guests of members and for the Earl Course. Societies are also welcome with prior arrangement.
Rayleigh is located two miles off the A130 (Chelmsford Road), near the M25.

Played the East Course on a green fee deal 2 for 1 Course was quite good, not to long (ideal for winter days) took just over 3 hours for the 18 holes. Staff good breakfast excellant

Very good condition considering how much rain we have had. Great improvements since new management. Looking at further drainage to make it even better.
