Bass Lake Golf Course
3000 Alexandrite Dr
Rescue, CA 95672-9321, United States

530.677.4653
Due to the ongoing drought, the course is indefinitely closed, although the practice range and restaurant remain open. If conditions improve and water restrictions are lifted, the course may eventually reopen — in fact, the course will be minimally maintained for that purpose.

This Sierra Nevada foothills course opened with nine holes designed by Gene Thorne in 1996; the second nine debuted three years later. Owners Alex and Sabrina Ho have invested a couple million dollars in improvements, such as a practice range, putting green, practice bunker, a pro shop, and a bar & restaurant.

The standard walking rates are $28 weekdays and $36 on weekends and holidays (carts are $12/person). Senior, junior, 9-hole, replay, and twilight discounts are available, as are season passes.

worst course I have played on in 30 years of golfing due to no grass on fairways and what made it worse was the rude owners and people in pro shop avoid this course as it is embarrassment to northern Ca. golf

Course in very poor condition. Greens very thin with muddy patches all over. Crabgrass on greens. Crabgrass was only green vegetation on some fairways. Burned out weed infested fairways. Tee boxes chewed up. Avoid
