Located along the Carlingford Lough, this parkland-style course lies at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, roughly three miles from Kilkeel's CBD. It is enclosed by the walls of the Kilmorey Estate. While the original 9-hole layout from 1924 was designed by Lord Justice Babington, the current 18-hole course was designed by the late and notable architect and professional Eddie Hackett. It is tough enough and challenging enough that the R&A have held qualifying for both the Senior British Open and the Amateur Championship here.

Visitors are welcome at £25 on weekdays, £30 on weekends; guest-of-member rates are also offered, as are several open competitions. Societies are also welcome with prior arrangement.
