These two 9-hole layouts are part of the Grand Hotel, located on the island. The first nine holes here ("Grand" nine) debuted in 1901 and were redesigned in 1987 by architect Jerry Matthews, who designed the Woods nine that opened in 1994. The two layouts are separated by mile-and-a-half horse-drawn carriage ride.
