Holbæk opened in 1964 with nine holes designed Frederik Dreyer; architect Jan Sederholm oversaw the addition of nine new holes from 1993 to 1994. Although the course is relatively flat and short, it is defended by the prevailing northwest winds, along with a number of lakes and bunkers. Perhaps most interestingly, eight holes play on a peninsula that juts out from the main property.

The standard adult walking rates are kr.300 weekdays and kr.350 weekends.
