#18
Eaglewood Golf Course
630 Weyland Rd
Langley AFB, VA 23665-5703, United States

757.764.4547
The two 18-hole courses at Langley AFB ("Raptor" and "Eagle") opened in 1948 and were renovated by Lester George between 2006 and 2008.

While the outward nine of the Eagle Course was renovated after the Raptor was complete, there are currently no plans to update the Eagle's inward nine. It is currently limited to 6 holes (10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18) and is considered a "practice course" - $10 for unlimited walking.

UPDATE (9 July 2015): The Eagle has been altered from the previous note. #1 and #2 are practice course holes; number 18 is for chipping/approach practice only (no tee box) and the green is not maintained for putting.

Since these courses are on Langley Air Force Base, call the pro shop for if you do not have a DoD-issued ID.

I saw them digging up the greens on the old Red Course. There is no going back now. Raptor is in excellent condition.

Good place to play right after work. Otherwise, I'd rater go to the Hampton's or Ft Eustis.

Scenery is great if you like to watch (and listen) to low flying jets. The Eagle course only has 9 holes. The Raptor has 18 holes
