While the club was established in 1896, this parkland course debuted in 1936 with a design by the very notable architect Harry S. Colt. The course includes an ornamental lake and plays through thick, mature woods. Small greens and tight fairways are the chief characteristic here.

Visitors with a valid golf handicap certificate are welcome; the standard walking rates are £55 after 9:30 a.m. on weekdays, then £65 on weekends after 11:15 a.m.
