Three courses are here, the newest being the Jorge Santana da Silva-designed Laranjal, which was built over a former orange tree grove. The very notable South Course has hosted the Portuguese Open eight times. Architect William Mitchell designed this challenging layout, which debuted in 1974.
The North Course debuted in 1974 with nine holes designed by William Mitchell, those original nine are now interspersed with the second nine holes, designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore in 1989. In addition, two very well-equipped practice ranges are also available.
