this is a great course to play if you get the chance, just off the M25

Great course, lots of bunkers protecting the greens

A lovely course but long for the high handicapers

I played this course on the weekend and thought that the course itself was in good conditions, however the greens were very bumpy and the cups cut badly. I think this had to do with some maintenance, but it was still not a nice experience seen puts which are dead on line suddenly take a bounce to left/right

I had to visit Terry/Paul in the shop (lefthandedgolf.co.uk) to collect some shiny new mp52's and thought, i would take advantage of a round considering that they were holding their anual pro-am tournament, therefore expecting the course to be in tiptop nick. Was i dissapointed ? NO, absolutely the best course i have been on in many a year, my thoughts echoed by my playing partner Len, who came with me for the day. The addition of over 100 bunkers made you really focus on every shot as they were so well placed, from tight (eye of the needle) fairways to well guarded greens. An absolute delight and well worth a visit.

I played this course while it was being 'improved' with the additional bunkers, I was not advised prior to playing that the front 9 was almost unplayable due to maintenance work, temporary tees and ground diggers everywhere. The staff were indifferent to my complaints that perhaps I should have been advised before I played the condition of the course.
