Two parkland-style courses are at this club, which is part of a Marriott hotel outside Edinburgh. The more famous East course hosted the Solheim Cup in 1992, as well as several Scottish PGA Championships and Scottish Senior Opens. Five-time Open champion and prolific architect James Braid did the original course design, although a major renovation took place in 2005. Braid also designed the shorter West course here.

A full practice facility and teaching academy are also on-site.

Course was a bit wet but to be expected after the terrible summer we have had

very wet and in general poor condition..especially the front 9. should ban buggies when weather is wet, they only churn up the ground. I won't rush to play it again!!

East course is a real challenge and you can see why its hosted many events. West course is more of a pitch and putt but good for practicing.
