Founded in 1892, Oldham Golf Club lies on the edge of the town and at the foot of the Pennines. The course is part moorland and the views include Cheshire Plain and Jodrell Bank, with the Welsh mountains to the west on clear days.

Visitors are welcome at £20 on weekdays, £25 on weekends and bank holidays. Societies are also welcome with prior arrangement.
