This 18-hole parkland-style course underwent a renovation in 2011 that resulted in several rebuilt greens, tee-boxes, bunkers, and a new drainage system. It is a municipal course (one of the first in Northern Ireland) that opened in 1986 with nine holes designed by Alec Blair and Greg Farris; the second nine debuted in 1998. Two societies, Lambeg Golf Club and Lambeg Ladies Golf Club, are resident here.

The standard walking rates are £14 weekdays and £16 on weekends and bank holidays. Twilight, early-bird, 9-hole, and junior rates are offered, as are season passes.
