Barnbougle Dunes
425 Waterhouse Rd
Bridport, TAS 7262, Australia

+61 3.6356.0094
This very highly-acclaimed (and genuine!) links course was co-designed by American architect Tom Doak and Australian architect Michael Clayton. This is one case where all the marketing hype actually is warranted; this course runs over Tasmania's coastal dunes and is strongly reminiscent of the windy seaside links courses of Scotland and Ireland. Among the accolades this course has received are:

• Australia's #1 Public Golf Course
• World #7 public access course
• 35th best course in the world

It is located on the edge of the small Tasmanian town of Bridport, about an hour's drive northeast of Launceston, on the north coast that overlooks Bass Straight. Lodging is available in the form of cottages.

Hole measurements are in meters.
