Played no. 2 the week after the scottish open and the course was in great nick. Unlike other links i have played the rough was Very thick and long, but i guess this was down to having just held the competition? A Fantastic course with great scenery. But then i do love Links Golf.

Stunning course with spectacular views, and variety of holes to make it a true challenge.

Home and I love/highly recommend all three of the courses. Main Clubhouse facilities being refurbished and due to open 6/15 (in time for The AAM Scottish Open).

Not the course you want to start your Scottish golf trip on. The rough is quite penal, you will be lucky to find your ball if you miss the fairways and first cut. Views and course improve greatly once you get over the first hill. Well worth playing.

Course playing well however quite sparse in places. Great links course, one of the best.

Played in a gale and loved every minute. Cowering behind umbrellas that were straining against the wind and rain, looking out only to check if my playing partners had been blown away. Even the locals declared the course to be on the limit of unplayable, but that just added to the fun. A quality course in a quality setting with great views of the Forth and Muirfield.

played 1 and 2 in horrendous weather, courses played super. let down by clubhouse, arriving wet and worn only to find staff gone home, and those left not interested.
better clubs to take visiting parties

Always a favourite. Blowing a gale and rain on the back nine, but what a great place to play golf. Great fun and look forward to my next round (less wind and rain I hope).

Great value and run by people who know how their business. Excellent experience. I've played 2&3 several times now and love the place totally. Can't speak highly enough of the club

A very uninspiring 'track', little in the way of definition, to many holes are the same. Greens were very good though
